RUSSELL SCHOOL PTO

 

The Russell Elementary School PTO is a support organization for parents, teachers and students which fosters and enhances the collaborative efforts of the school community to build lifelong learners through the whole school community.

Its goal is to provide a venue for parents, teachers and students to communicate and build understanding. In addition, the PTO will work to support the educational endeavors of the school community through additional resources, which will enrich the students' learning and provide an opportunity for parents and community members to become more actively involved in the education of Rumney's children.

The PTO recognizes that the education of Rumney's youth is not the sole responsibility of the school and its faculty. It is a collaborative approach and the responsibility of the whole community. Therefore, the PTO will work to provide opportunities for the whole community to support and enrich the educational experiences of its children.

PTO priorities are determined at the beginning of each school year by the members who attend the meetings. New members are strongly encouraged to bring new ideas, enthusiasm and leadership. Please join us; volunteering is rewarding.
